Day 14: The End is Here

IMG_2124.JPGAt this point we’ve been on the road for 24 hours. We were going to take our time getting home kind of like we did on the way out west. But she was fine with driving straight through. We kept each other up the entire way so it wasn’t terrible. I don’t want to be home already, especially when I didn’t have to be back for 2 more days *crying* As much as I hate Baltimore sometimes I actually felt myself appreciating it more once I got back. Not that I didn’t have the best trip of my life and see some of the best cities ever i just appreciate where I came from and know I’ll always have a home here in Baltimore, regardless of the middle fingers.

Day 3 & 4: Las Vegas

Vegas!! Finally!! That was one hell of a drive. We checked in and it was already off to a shitty start. We were staying at the Flamingo right on the strip and right across from Caeser’s (prime location). This hotel was shit, no Wi-Fi or even cell phone service in our room. I was livid and couldn’t wait to leave.

Enough of my anger at that place. The first night was a blast we were on a list to get in to Hakkasan in MGM. We’ve both been to Vegas but never had the club experience so we were like little kids in a candy store. We take the elevator up to the main club and we were there for 30 seconds and got pulled in to yet another V.I.P. table for a company party. This table is pretty close to the stage and we look over to our surprise and Borgeous is playing. WHAT THE HELL. We partied our asses off, drank grey goose all night for free, and then at 4 a.m. on to the next club. We promised we weren’t staying out all night but we got in the cab and asked him to take us to an all-night spot. It just so happened to be in the hotel next to ours so super convenient. Once again, 5 minutes within being there we got pulled in to another VIP table. This place wasn’t as live but what do you expect at 5 a.m. We had an amazing time and felt extremely lucky to keep having amazing experiences like these.

We wake up pretty late and head down to the pool. We were gonna do it big and go to a crazy pool party but kept it simple and went to our hotel’s adult only pool. It was still pretty awesome and we threw back some pitchers of beer. The night came around Leslie wasn’t feeling well so we went out to eat and although I wanted to walk around old Las Vegas she wasn’t up for it so we went home. No big deal I got to walk around Vegas by myself and just had a chill night in the casino.

Day 2: Denver

It took us about 8 hours to arrive in Denver from KC. This is where it all gets interesting. We got in to the city around 6 p.m. so finally there was no rush to get ready. We got showered and in the middle of getting ready we decided to re-activate my tinder account. It was a dual profile that advertised us both as looking for fun people to meet along the road-trip. Well I started rapid-firing and the first person I talked to happened to be in town for a bachelor party. Well I kept meeting new people and had lots of offers to grab drinks but then he told us they had a party bus for the night and would pick us up. At first it was an absolute no, we weren’t letting random guys pick us up from the hotel on a party bus especially one for a bachelor party. A couple hours passed and everyone else I was meeting on tinder was lame. To my surprise Leslie said, “fuck it, lets do it, we’re here for one night might as well.” I definitely had to think on it but what was the worse that could happen. The bus picked us up. Kinda awkward being the only girls at first but we got to the first bar and loosened up. The boys were buying us many rounds of budlights and fireball shots and we were having an awesome time at this sports roof-top bar. It was also pretty awesome how anyone could be smoking weed outside and it be okay.

We were having such an awesome time at this bar that no one wanted to leave but the bus was paid for and everyone wanted to get some use out of it. So we head to the next spot, this place was pretty cool. Lots of arcade games, bowling alleys, but it started becoming a blur. We left and were on the bus which feels like forever . We started getting on the strip poles, wrestling, the place was wrecked. We stopped at a convenient store and rolled 7 deep in to a bathroom stall. The list goes on. Sadly this was our favorite part of the trip and all I mainly have are funny ass videos which aren’t able to be posted. This group of guys were hilarious and were able to party like Leslie and I. A bonus of it was that I got to meet Gavin and somehow or another he happened to live in San Diego which was our second stop away. Leslie met Chris who was the most blacked our person I’ve seen in a while. But we had a great time in Denver and I’d love to go back.

Coast – to – Coast

Since the first day we left for the trip I thought we should document and blog the whole thing. Lost track of time and haven’t come in contact with Wi-Fi until 10 days in. I’m going to do my best to back track it because, hell, this trip was beyond entertaining.

If you’re new here, you can call me A and my accomplice shall go by L (hopefully she chimes in from time to time). And… if you know us already well you already know who we are.

Some background info: We’re two super close high school best friends that have recently decided to travel from the East coast to the West. We’re weird, drunks, carefree, independent, Bros?, heartless, loving, out of control girls. But we hear we’re entertaining, so here we are.
